Thanks for the outstanding link UberR

As I said, I was just thinking out loud, and what better place to come for some thoughts on this subject? I'm a huge fan of displacement (as you can see by my sig), and this may be a viable alternative. This or gaining some CID with the original block

Thanks again

Any chance of getting a parts list for what is required to do the conversion - aside from the crate engine?

Sorry bout my last post... The link refers to a C6 vert with a Z06 body parts (nose, front/rear fenders, etc...) with a polished Magnuson supercharger under the hood...

The only thing I had to do is install the oil tank and move the battery to the trunk

Default LS7 in vert

I also had to replace the ECM with a 06 ECM had to get the V.I.N. from a Z06 and download his program into the new ECM and also I am going to have to install a new BCM as the guages are erratic. Other than that it runs awesome with the new LS7.

I also had the Z06 body put on it and the Z06 rotors and calipers so it pretty totally looks like a convertible z06.

I am very happy with the way it turned out
