whindshild wiper removal
i was at the drag strip tonight and there was a rustang...good looking actually...bark!!! anyway he had removed the windshiled wipers and replaced them woht a cap the covered where the arnm would come thru the hood area. seems like this would save some lbs age as you could pull the motor the lines the spray bottles for the washers ect, ect. any one know where to get a kit like this....well the part to cover where the arms where. everything else is a pull and trash i tem i think. my car necer sees rain and never will and will veber be sold so 15 lbs is 15 lbs. and this seems likeit may be more!!!!!

Besides being a goofy idea, you don't need a "kit" to do this. I removed wiper systems from road race cars I have built and the cover used is A) something you faricate or B) a plastic plug from the general parts area of your local parts store.
Again, this is a waste of effort unless you are going full out race car.
