Default TPS (tire pressure sensor) part numbers

If anyone is ordering an extra set of tire pressure sensors (for your race tires) you need to be aware there are 2 different sensors depending on you particular C6. Look inside the glove compartment at the part code sticker inboard side of the glove compartment. You will see a large list of 3 number/letter sequences.

UJ9 = part number 25758220
UH3 = part number 257582221

Some of the online stores sell 05-06 C6 tire pressure sensors with no distinction. I am not sure why. Anyway if you buy the wrong one it will not work on your car.

I think this should have went in the Tech section. I will request a mod move it.

Ok, update. The UJ9 is the American C6 and the UH3 is for the overseas C6. So I guess it is not really a problem.

Got mine at FredBeans.com for $45.43 each. Don't forget to get a new nut part # 15234846 for $2.78 each.
