Default Both Front Dirctionals Not Working

Last night I noticed my directional blinking very rapidly on the left side, and now this morning the right is doing the same. I checked the car and both front turn signal lights are not working, but the bulbs appear to be ok(clear at least) looking at them through the lense. My car is an 05 with 5K miles on it. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or know what might be causing it.
Thanks

They are also your DRLs, are they working normal or not at all.

The answer to that might help some here give you the answer (Shopdog for one)

I just got the car, and have not yet recieved the owners manual,(1st owner forgot it and its in the mail) but let me take a shot at this, the lights on the bottom bumber are the fog lights, the headlight compartment has three circle lights, and i think the turn signals are the biggest ones with the orange bulbs (closest the the fender), correct? the middle circle bulb are the headlights and the third circle bulb are the highbeams (closest the the center of the car) Playing with the light controls I can get each one of them to light up, but the turns signals will not work.

lewmel,
Take a look at this link. I think it is what you need to take to the dealer and get them to complete this procedure for you Corvette.

I know in some newer cars the way it informs you the bulb is burned out is by very rapid blinker lights on the dash.

common problem. My 05 needed both sides fixed. It is not the bulb. Although it might work for awhile with bulb replacement. James

Since he says the DRLs work, that's not his problem (same wires, sockets, and bulbs for DRL and front turn signal functions). Since the rear turn signals work, we know the stalk circuits are good. That leaves the BCM and associated wiring as the culprit. The BCM is what decides to burn the lights steady (DRL) or flash them (turn signal).

Is this the same issue that the c5's had where if you turn on the emergency flashers, the blinkers work again?
