I would think it would be closer to 121-122MPH. I added about 100RWHP and only picked up .6 seconds and 8 MPH. Keep in mind that traction and gearing plays a HUGE part in trap speed.
Yes 10hp equals 1mph and 0.1 second in a perfect world, for instance a C6 Z06 has about 100 more horsepower and typically runs 11.2-11.7@124-127mph, the average being 11.5-11.7@124-125.
So as you can see yes 100hp = 10mph & 1 second in a perfect world, but that is taking in to account much more traction from the Z06s 325 rear tires compared to the C6s 285s.
Add 100hp to a C6 and the stock tires will surely not provide adequate traction and you might end up running short of those gains as RichieRichZ06 pointed out.
the original poster didn't provide what kind of tires he will be using, therefore i will have to assume if you are going to add 100-130hp to your car, you must have also improve traction also. keep in mind i said 10hp is "around" 1mph. keep in mind in richie's case gain 8mph from 100hp, that is .8mph per 10hp, i consider it around enough. don't you think so?
