Strange brake problem
I hadn't driven the vehicle for two weeks and went to back it out of garage and it didn't want to move.It felt like it was chained to the floor.
The car squeeled and felt like back brakes were dragging. The car was fine going foward. The emergency brake is never left on while car is sitting in garage. After a while it loosened up.
We have had extreme humidity but G-P sittting next to it never has this problem.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Usually when I do that, and then don't drive it for at least a day or so, rust builds up between the pads and rotors and they kind of stick together. The car won't move at first, then giving it more power it breaks free. There will be all kinds of rust on the rotors, so when first applying the brakes it feels like they are grinding really badly. After 1 or 2 stops, the rust is gone and all is back to normal.

Even the high humidly will cause this.
