Default Installed the FAST LSX intake

It's a fairly easy swap if you have the 3 kits. I used the FAST fuel rail adapter kit, the MAP relocation kit from Lingenfelter.

PN 54026 FAST LSX Manifold to LS2 Injector/ Fuel Rail Adaptor Kit

The hardest part was the firewall because it is really makes a mess. Make sure you tape up the intake ports on the heads and the Oil sending unit top before you start cutting. I used a grinding cutting wheel that attaches to a drill and some cutting pliers, and a small handheld hacksaw to make the hole....

Here is a picture... If you use the injector adapters from FAST, you may not be able to use the fuel rail covers as they don't seem to fit right. You could probably use the LS1 o -rings instead so that the rail covers fit. The extra height from the injector adapters raied the rails about 1/2 inch or so.... The car feels much stronger now... I'm still trying to get the tune sorted out so I can post some dyno numbers...

Here is a junk pic from my camera phone... I can probably take more on a real camera if anyone is interested...

Thanks Man.

The only thing I don't like about the FAST manifold is that stupid gray color. I intend to paint mine before I install.

What kind of gains did you get/expect to get with that intake?

I'm not sure... Seems like most people with Heads/Cam are getting close to 20RWHP... Maybe a little less.... The car definately feels a ton stronger.....

wow, you could relocate a battery that small to the rear right compartment in the car easily. Dont suppose you have a link to that battery or dimensions?

Is it a sure thing that stock fuel rail covers won't fit? I just bought some fancy painted ones and would hate to ditch them. I just had a Cartek stage 2x heads/cam package and they told me that the FAST is worth 10-15RWHP. It's not cheap but I'm probably going to do it. So you really noticed a difference??

The covers fit, but they seem to sit a little higher..... The hood closes ok....

I noticed a HUGE difference... Similar to what I felt with the addition of headers... The car pulls at 5000 like it did at redline before the FAST...

If you can get this to play for you, this is how my car sounds under wide open throttle... I was holding the camera, so I was shifting really slow...

Stock exhaust, FAST intake, Kooks Headers, AFR 205s, Cheatr cam...

Yep... It's hard to stay off the throttle when you see open highway...

Knock on wood... Had the car 1 year and 2 months with no tickets (without radar detector)... I must have angels watching over me....

... I just used fine sandpaper to get rid of the flashing in the runners, but I wouldn't consider it porting....
