Long story short, on Monday I took the car in and they returned it to me with a new battery saying it had a bad cell. Lets hope they are right.

Just got back from Carlisle this evening & I had the opportunity to spend some time with GM engineers on the DBS problem. I was told that a NEW TSB was sent to dealers on friday 8/18. It concerns the reprogamming one of the ECMS' to hopefully, clear up the DBS issue once & for all.

More info-apparently, one of ECMS' would send a false signal to the Security System & thus keep this ECM Alive! Battery would drain within 30 hours, @ 1amp per hour. Well, I'm no techE, but just trying to be helpful. GM folks indicated that the DBS issue is the most expensive warrenty issue they are faced with, & must be resolved. Lets' Hope.
