To make this happen I suggest everyone reading this to send an email to:

NittoTech@nittotire.com
Anthony Lee
Nitto Technical Department

This was his original email to me.

Dear Ted Cucci,
If we do plan on making this tire, it will take a little while
before it will reach the public. It will not be available this season.
How well do you think a tire of this size/type will sell?

Thank you,
Anthony Lee

My car wheel hops like no other on the stock supercar tires. My car made 407/411 on the dyno (06 Z51 mn6) and it really likes the Nitto. I have a set of 17 wheels wrapped with 555R rubber. Going to second gear at 6700 would usually cause a horrible wheel hop almost completely through second. With the nittos it was a nice churp going to second, and the same with third and fourth. The 555R on the 17s I have were at 30 pounds of psi and no burnout was done, my wheel hop simply dissapeared from the rolling first gear punch and so on. I don't race from a dead stop myself so I have never done a burout with the nittos, but I imagine it would do rather well. All I know for sure is the car doesn't wheel hop any more, just puts your *** in the seat.
Great tire just need it for 19 wheel.

I'd buy a set too...

But for now does anyone know what the best drag radial and rim combo to run on the rear of a Z 51 C6?

If you do please advise of proper offset to use as well so that the tires dont extend way past stock.

Presently in the drag radials who makes the largest ones available that you can stuff under a C6?

Thanks

Bump! I'm really not fond of the 19' performance tire selection out there. Some NT01, 555's etc at 19' sizes would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I read all the responses and no-one seemed to ask this question, so I will. Are we talking 19" drag radials that will fit on C6 stock rims?? What's the guesstimate as to cost? Kevin

Yes, hopefully in the 295x35x19 to 315x30x19 size range.
And hopefully relatively inexpensive as well.
