Default Corsa Heat

Had my Corsa Sport Installed last night. Love the sound, but noticed that the cockpit is a little toastier now. Oil temp seems to also be about 10-15 degrees higher than I can remember around 230. Anybody have an idea as to why this may be happening? Could this also result in more oil being burned?

My guess - the cool new exhaust sound is causing you to drive more aggressively, raising the oil temp and making the cockpit more toasty.

Your in a happy mode and your senses are in overdrive. Doubt anything has changed at all (temp/oil use). Weather conditions can do some funny things. Example a temp change of ten degrees is good for a 1# change in tire pressures.
Enjoy your car and relax.

I know stock exhaust is a double wall construction, insulating exhaust heat a little bit more. Is Corsa double wall?

BTW- What is normal oil temp anyone experiences who has Corsa Sport?

Exhaust system change will have absolutely no effect on what you are describing. Look elsewhere if changes are real.

It's not the exhaust....if you're truly experiencing higher engine temps & not just higher ambient, check someplace else. BTW....I installed an Elite ceramic chassis plate at same time as the Corsa Sports & it did help to keep down convection heating in the interior.
