Every time I take a right turn, I hear a knocking sound like something is loose behind the left rear q-pannel. It also sometimes sounds like it is coming from the seat. Anyone have a similiar issue?
Sometimes when I get in and out of the car, I can hear the seat itself moving in the seat track. It sounds almost like a popping or knocking sound, simliar to the noise you'd hear, say, by folding a plastic milk jug in on itself. Maybe that's what you hear.
I can duplicate it by sitting in the driver's seat and pushing backward with both feet on the floor. You could try that and see if your seat makes the noise. I don't know if it's the seat/track assembly, or where the seat bolts to the floor (I know my C6 has a much different floorpan than any GM car I've owned, it may be the floor itself "popping" under the weight).
