Any one else have the top of the red pipe between the MAF and snorkle rubbing against the hood liner? There is no clearance and it is leaving a mark about 2" long in the liner. Been able to hide it with a sharpie but still starting to get fairly deep.

FYI, this install has the TB spacer as well.
Any insights are appreciated.

if it is hitting hood liner you dont have the front snorkle locked in grill so it is high angle on radiator. remove and try to lock tabs in grill if it still dont fit take more of shrow out of the bottom front and get mounting bracket right
This is the new design. Just received it couple of weeks ago.
I don't understand about the locks tabs in grill. Please explain what is meant by that. The piece that positions the shorkle opening is the red aluminum bracket.
I should have mentioned that the bottom of the pipe is resting on the radiator cover. So it appears the pipe diameter is causing the issue. I did loosen the screws holding the red aluminum bracket and pushed that down as far as possible. That made no difference.
It simply appears with the OD of the red pipe there is not enough clearance.
Well mine is not leaving a mark anywhere. Not sure if it touches when I close the hood or not. Sort of like wondering if the refrigerator light goes out when I close the door.
Hey I gave you some bad info. I have the new vararam and it does touch the hood liner as you have described. I am getting the same darn marks. Sorry for the BS post, but I never noticed it and I am very in touch with my car.
Ok, so we need a fix. I know it is installed properly. I am thinking some matching red tape on the hose clamps. But I am open to some brain storming.
