Default Lingenfelter

I am considering sending my '05, automatic to Lingenfelter for one of two packages. Either the 500 HP or the 560 HP with the Magnuson Supercharger. The car has about 25,000 miles on it and is a daily driver. I am interested to see if anyone has an opinion on these mods for performance and drivability.

I have considered the Procharger, however, it sounds like there is not a huge notable difference in low end power so the Magnuson might be the way to go if I go with a SC.

Does anyone have a clue how these mods will effect 0-60 times and 1/4 mile stats.

I would like to be in the four second range with twelve second quarters. Any possibilities with either set-up?

Default 06 auto mangunson,Lingernfelter

A friend of mine took me out in his S.C.Lingenfelter 06. Its fast,he says it should run high 11s. Lingenfelter people told him that it should run 11.7-11-8 From a dead stop it hardly breaks the tries loose with T.C. off fr about 2000 rpms it pins u in yr seat. no mufflers and bullets. sounds great. he has had no problems with it. gas mileage about 22mpg if u not in it all the time. The S.C. whine sounds mean!

I always prefer to leave these type of questions to Lingenfelter owners to answer, but if there is anything I can do to help, please just let me know.

Thanks,
Ed

You will NOT be disappointed in your decision to go to LPE. I could go on for days, weeks, months about how incredible this car is now... and the fact that the quality folks at LPE put this together for me - it provides much in the way of confidence (and potential resale).

To answer your performance questions - those times should be relatively easy to best with the supercharged package. Your largest issue in getting into the low to mid 11's is traction - but that is a fun "problem" to have.

To put it shortly, the difference is night and day and I can't keep the huge smile off my face since I've gotten mine back. Power is instant and abundant. You will need to practice a whole new level of restraint.

And yes - the sound of the blower in higher rpms is simply MEAN!

Lingenfelter may or may not be the best but you won't find any better or more helpful people anywhere.

I dont have either but, I would probably go with the HC package to stay NA. I don't like the additonal heat that is created by SC. Both are great packages, I just personally prefer NA.

Food for thought....I just installed the LPE 403 package conversion with some other mods (see long post in the tech section) at 21st Century Muscle Cars in North Dallas. You can't go wrong with anything Lingenfelter.....21st CMC was great to work with and the car is simply awesome!
