throttle bodies
So my local service shop has decided to replace my throttle body after several "Service active handlings" and bad throttle position sensor codes.
Incidentally, my daily beater, a nissan altima has been giving me problems. Specifically, the car turns over, but the throttle does not do anything (no rev) THis happened last week ago, so i had to restart the car like 3 or 4 times and it finally started working. Then it happened the other day and had to restart eh car like 50 times until the throttle would "engage" Brought it to nissan and they tell me that it needs a new throttle body.
I also rememebr my 2000 GMC jimmy also needing a new throttle body after the accelerator got stuck - I had to turn the car off to get the car to stop.
That's 3 cars in a row that need a new throttle body.
Whats going on?? IS there something im doing to break them??
