Default Anyone using the b&b long tube header system

I was very interested in results anyone has gotten from b&b long tube headers for the c6.
Before I waste a bunch of money on long tubes i want to be sure they are worth there weight in cash.
I have the bullets with the prt system on my 07 c6 and want more power and read about headers that bolt up to the system.
Advice please

claims 22 hp 19tq rear wheels seems alittle low

I have the B&B long tube headers, hi flow cats, and X-pipe. It is a good setup, but you'll need a tune for max performance. I had craftsmanship issues with mine. The hi flow cats showed up with no O2 sensor bungs behind the cats and one of the O2 sensor extensions was miswired. It took two different trips to the exhaust shop to remedy the problems. I complained to B&B and they cut me a check to reimburse me for my exhaust shop visits.

I was going to get B&B long tubes to go with my B&B bullets but, from talking to a few people on the forum they recommended american racing headers. The collectors on them are very unique. Got them with the high flow cats. They were pretty easy to install and came with everything I needed (bolts, gasket, & o2 extensions). I noticed a pretty good differnece once I put them on and still need to get a tune done. If you do a search for "American Racing Headers" you can find the dyno numbers on them. Nick from American Racing was also very helpful with a problem that I had.

Thats about the number I'm shooting for. I'm assuming you have an M6 , but has anyone heard if the A6 tranny can withstand that extra power?

I am in the same boat. Have the Bullet PRT's and want to know what is up with the headers.

I guess Long Tube headers are illegal in California, and the Shorts don't add anything.

Help us out. What is the truth behind the longs and shorts.
At 22 RWHP, that doesn't sound much.
