It sounds great and I like the 'flames' coming out the tail pipes.
That just gave me an idea....after doing the mods on my C6, it sounds absolutely wicked....it's a head-turner! I read posts asking for sound clips of different exhausts from time to time so I'll shoot some video of my C6 and share it with the Forum. I've never posted video or audio before but it can't be that difficult. Thanks for the inspiration....it will be a fun project.
To sound like that, you need a V-10. Relatively long stroke V8s have their own rumble.
Coolest sounds from an SBC come from 180 degree headers. They start to have that wild raspy exhaust note. I was racing at Sebring in 2000 and there was a Corvette production race there that had that sound. Very nice.
The fuel is right at the rear of the car since its a mid engine car.
The fuel could be 5 miles away in a 55 gallon drum and you'd have the same effect. The flames are from unburnt fuel igniting in the headers/exhaust. NASCAR stockers do this all the time and their engines and fuel tanks are at opposite ends of the car.
