100K WARRANTY!!! That is a big selling point. I imagine you must do the repairs making the repair process somewhat time consuming if the car is located far from your shop.
10.9 @ 126???? doubt it. maybe with a diet, et slicks, perfect weather/track conditions, excellent driver, strong tailwind, downhill 1/4 track.......have lg long tubes, off road x, bullets, vararam- buying magnacharger. 10's here i come.
The 10.9 at 126 is from actual test results, with 6 speed manual and drag radials.
With paddle shift automatic transmission and drag radials: 11.5's at 122.
I'm also curious about the 1/4 time. Also, how does the warranty (5 year 100K) work with your product?
Quarter-mile time is for manual trans car with drag radials, from actual testing at the dragstrip. Automatics are about a half-second slower, due to 2.56 rear axle ratio and additional driveline losses (horsepower absorbed by the automatic transmission).
The Callaway-installed content is covered by Callaway's 5 years / 100K mile warranty. It works like this:
If you should have a problem, you would bring the car to the Chevy dealership. You don't have to figure out whether it's a Callaway problem or a GM problem. If the dealer's service department thinks there's a Callaway problem, he contacts us. If it's something that the dealer can address, then we'll provide repair parts for him to install. For example, if a shifter needs to be replaced, or the exhaust system breaks, or if the embroidery in a floor mat unravels, Callaway will ship the parts and the dealer will install. But if there's anything that the dealer can't address, then we'll send a Callaway technician to the dealership to make repairs. It's much less costly and time-consuming to fly a technician to the dealership, than to transport the car to Connecticut. (Please note that this process is valid for Callaway Corvette Authorized Dealers only.)
FWIW, we haven't had any warranty claims for SuperCharged Corvettes at all since we started building them in February.
Wow that is nice. Is it legal in California(CARB cert)
Yes, it's emissions-compliant and has a CARB E.O.
Plus, we're in the process of setting up an assembly facility in Southern California, managed by Peter Callaway, Reeves' son. That will eliminate the expense of transporting cars from Connecticut to California.

The automatics are a bit slower than the manuals. We've recorded 11.5's at 122 (w/drag radials), due to the rear axle ratio and driveline losses. For reference, I believe the 505 hp Z06's advertised et is 11.8 sec.
I guess I'll have to document our next test session to assure people that we're not making this stuff up.
I've just signed on some new dealers in the Chicago and Indianapolis areas: Bill Stasek Chevrolet (847) 537-7000, and Harbor Chevrolet (219)879-5411. And, obviously from above, Simon Chevrolet in Woonsocket, RI, not far from Boston MA (401) 769-3000. We have been expanding our "Authorized Callaway Corvette Dealer" network in an east-to-west direction, but that should change now.
A dealer from Denver has told us that they have a Corvette being sent to us from Bowling Green. We'll announce that when the car arrives. More importantly, Peter Callaway has just been brought on board to address the west coast market, including qualifying and signing up new Authorized Callaway Corvette Dealers on the west coast. Within the next six to eight weeks, he'll be opening Callaway's new Southern California assembly facility.
We're considering Chevy dealers that are enthusiastic about selling Corvettes, are involved with their local Corvette communities, and can appreciate the Callaway Corvette as an addition to their product offering.
