You have it made by doing the heads at the same time, you can pull the lifters and your heads already have new springs. Your swap will be breeze...Make sure you spend a good chunk of time cleaning the block (especially the bolt holes) before you bolt the new heads on
Give me a buzz if you run into any issues...

i was wondering if i could get a write up on how to do a cam swap.
I hate to pile on here, but I'd also like to see daves write up. Any way we could make that public for future searchers? If not, if another member could PM me the file, it would be much appreciated!

I'm glad I had someone like you when I bought mine otherwise I would had ran right out and bought ALL kinds of stuff that I didn't need/work and wasted alot of time and $, HEED his advice fella's, ladies. Updated: Nice cam install write up with pics from JayplaySS2 (I can't get TodRobbies link to work either). Jay uses the steering rack removal method which I think is slightly easier. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-of-pics.html
At one point, he mentions that he has the spark plug wires off before the first startup to get some oil flowing. Maybe I'm nit picking here, but would it be a better idea to disable the injectors so that the cylinder walls are getting flooded with fuel?
