What type of difference are you seeing with the tune? Does it launch harder and pull from a roll better? TIA

Default C6 A6 Transmission Tuning...

Nothing wrong with the 2.56, but I drag race a lot and I just want a little more grrrr out of the hole.
Hey guys.. If you're interested...We're presently working on a performance ratio option to replace the 2 series gear in the A6 cars....

We'll keep you posted on the progress....

Additionally, If you need more grunt out of your A6, and you aren't too far from New York..We can finally tune the A6 trans....

If you're not too close, you can always send us the PCM for a bench tune....I've got tons of C6 A6 engine tunes on file and can whip you up something to give that car the GRUNT you've been looking for.

Stay Tuned,
Chuck CoW

So basically your response is "holy cow!"?

The transmission parameters were altered as well? Torque management, shift points, firmness etc?

My A6 ran 12.85 at 110 1.99 60' DA 3,000 feet stock.

IMO the A6 has:
a deep 1st (a little too deep if you are making any more pwr)
a good 2nd
an ok 3d
and 4th keeps pulling hard (with the Vararam)

I have raced a lot of cars that say the kill C6's and mine really surprises them they all swear I am spraying, its funny to watch them look the car over.

IMO the A4 w 273's is so slow it is not worth the gas it feels like it drops out of the pwr band on each shift, but it will hit 190 in 3rd

I have not run a stock A4 315 or M6Z51 yet but pull on 02-04 Z06's.
you pull on 02-04 Z06's???? OK now I know your full of it....please you can be proud of your car but an 02-04 Z06 will destroy your A6 if it is stock and if it is lets go on "PINKS" with my stock 04 Z06 sir.

Stock I'm 1.8.

As for the 02-04 Z06, I've only run one, I put one car on him from the jump and pulled another 1 or so by 150. Not sure of his mods. I have headers, ORX, Stingers and an intake, no tune.

My car is trapping about 116.

I also beat a C5Z at the track, but it was close. From a roll the A6 is very strong. I'll give it that. I've seen C5Z's go 11.8 with nothing but drag radials, I think you'd be hard pressed to do that in an A6 especially with TM. But from a roll I think it will surprise alot of people, but with a good driver I don't see the Z getting beat by a stock car.

Just my experiences, take them for what they are worth.
