Default Operation Successful, Patient....

is alive and doing well . As some of you might recall, I posted a few messages regarding my Rear End Diff. problem. The grinding, and chattering, was (temporarily, in my case) fixed with a fluid change, but only lasted for less than 2 weeks. Since the Grinding at slow turns came back, I took her back to the Dealer, who scheduled her for surgery. Phase two, is to change out the clutch packs in the rear end, which took a total of 8.6 hours and has been successfully completed. Thus far, I have not experienced any grinding/bumping noises out of the rear end, and though it has only been one day, I have to say, so far, so good. I am very pleased with the service I received from my Dealer, and the Service Manager even talked me through the process, and explained the parts exchange in detail, which I appreciate.

I am hoping that my last change to Redline fluid will fix mine. I hate the thoughts of leaving it with the dealer. If this doesn't fix it then I guess I will bite the bullet and get the disks replaced.

Had the same symptems on mine (build date 9/24/04). Fluid change first, then replacement diff. No problems since.
