Default Mods + Daily Driver

Hello all to start off with my corvette is a 2006 m6 w/7k on it.it is my part time DD stays in the garage when its raining or snow, but every otherday it takes me everywhere.my question is what mods are acceptable for daily driving,i would really like to put about 400-450 to the wheels.my question is what mods do i need to do this while still keeping it as a daily driver without cels going off on me all the time

all work is going to be done at Performance by Joe

I see your dedication to having a certain person/shop do any mods (which is admirable) but this could limit your options. There are many ways you could go....only limited by your preferences and how much money you're willing to spend.

My C6 is not a daily driver. I opted for the Lingenfelter 403 package conversion along with some other modifications. I preferred having a 'strong' forged-component engine versus putting a supercharger on the stock, cast-piston engine. That being said, many people opt for a SC with excellent results.

My 403 is quite drivable in day to day driving....it's a blast to drive. Although LPE is in Indiana, 21st Century Muscle Cars is an authorized Lingenfelter installer located in North Dallas. They were great to work with....before, during and after the mods. They completed the entire job for me in 4 days! I highly recommend 21st Century Muscle Cars!

If you're set on using one certain mechanic/shop, I'd talk it over with him....tell him what you're looking for and see what he suggests. Always have a qualified, experienced installer/mechanic do the work....someone that specifically works on Corvettes. It avoids potential problems in the long run.

Good luck and let us know what you decide on.

Default Daily driver with 43,000miles, no problems

Mods; kooks headers, magnaflow cat back,160 stat, stinger intake,
FAST 90 manifold, 224/228/581/588/114LSA comp cam, ET 215
heads,and tunning.
dynoed 461rwhp/435rwtq, gets 28mpg @70mph in 6th. idles smooth no issues. It's not a garage queen. Just remember that the mods you do are for you to enjoy, don't ever expect them to enhance the value of the car. They don't. If anything it might tend to decrease the value.
I don't care because a car isn't an investment. Not these anyway. But still there a blast to drive. Good luck.
