Corvettes have an excellent suspension and tires. Therefore, excellent traction. The Corvette is not designed to "smoke" the tires. It is designed to dig in and go.

So, Warrior102, where are you from?

you shouldn't have any problem what-so-ever smoking the tires with a stock c6, any model.

simply, from a dead stop, turn off 'traction control' and 'stomp' the gas pedal. it will smoke the tires, no problem. the higher the air pressure, the easier to spin.
