I have a 2006 Z51 6 speed that was just recalled for a clutch / interface. I brought it in to a Chevy dealer and now it is difficult to shift into reverse. I need to push very hard to the right to get it into gear. Is this normal? Has any one else had this recall done?

glad to hear i'm not the only one. i don't have a z51, i've got an '05 mn6 f55. i had the clutch replaced under tsb and yes, reverse is extremely hard to find at times, i've actually thrown-out my elbow trying to find it.
i've tried changing the 'clutch fluid', via sop up and replace the contents in the reseviour, drive then repeat. reverse has gotten easier to find, but it is still difficult most of the time.
i've also found that doing a first to reverse shift works or a fifth to reverse, or a slight movement forward then reverse.
hey, maybe they will find a problem with the 'recommended installation process' and they'll fix it for me/us.
