Engine Light on the dashboard

Hello,

does anyone know how to check what the engine light is all about? What's the key combination do i press to start reading codes in 2006 C6?

You need an OBDII reader. You can buy them for about $100 or you can go to AutoZone and they will read for you for free. This will give you a code that will tell you were the issue is.

Just thought of this, but if you are going to buy a reader, spend the extra and get a preditor that will read the codes and let you modify the system. Just a thought.....

That is one thing about the C5 I truley miss. I am probably going to break down and buy a tool for this.

I just got an Innova 3100c reader at Checker Auto. They had a $30.00 rebate program in effect. The 3100 has all the features I wanted and you can update over the interweb. No codes yet but I'm ready.
