I know smokin the tires doesn't win races, but it sure is fun and that is part of it. I wonder if having the auto vs the manual makes a big difference with the lower gear ratio in the manual??

The overall gearing (in the lower gears) is pretty low in the A6 autos as well.

Mileage? Off the lot mine didn't want to break loose very much. Competition mode helped a little, turning everything off a little more. After mods (sig) and tune tires broke loose more, now with colder weather in comp mode I'm triggering active handling if I stomp it! Up to 5800 mile now, it just keeps getting stronger. I took a "stress relief" drive after I got home from work tonight. Laid about about 15' of rubber from a standstill in comp mode with the AH flashing to stop it. I love this car!

Freightman, mine does not either, I am sending off my computer to Lyndon @ Westers Garage in Canada on Monday when my new core comes in. He has found how to eliminate TM and make the other adjustments. I have used his tunes on my last two Yukons. They scream.
I should be able to tell you how it does in about two weeks. He has an 07 C6 himself and says it awesome.
