Does anyone make a strait line shifter for the c6. I am tired of missing 3rd gear in this thing. I've done the open palm tecq. Works sometime for me.
Thanks...

i cant believe there is a huge prob with hitting 3rd in these cars...i find it way easier to hit it than any of my other vette(C4&C5)

it will occasionally go into the no mans land part of 3rd but that was only the first 2 weeks of driving.

just get a calloway or a B&M and youll be fine

Had this same problem, wanted to buy a new shifter.

I cured it with this thread:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1424699

Thanks to Ranger who took his time to post these instructions, now I'm very happy with the C6 shifter and can shift it as fast as my C5 no problem. Practice makes perfect. Haven't missed a shift in months.

Yeah, maybe missing fourth gear. I find it hard to miss 3rd gear. Pretty much straight up slightly to the right because it's not going into first gear.

A Callaway shifter will fix it if you can't!

Change your clutch fluid and go with the B&M 45044 shifet.
Much more positive and solid feeling.
