i just recently put on new B & B long tube headers on my C6. within 2 hours after install, the Check Engine Light came on. . I asked around and they told me its because i removed the Cats. so i figured that the computer had to be reprogrammed. .so i callled one of the dealers, and they told me to drop the car off for the day, I called another dealer and they told me that i had to go buy some aftermarket o2 sensors. has anyone had this problem? ? if so. . some advice would be great ! !thanks alot

There are some replacement modules that replace the o2 sensors that trick the pcm into thinking they are there and working correctly. Several of the tuner forum vendors advertised them early this year, and I suppose they still sell them for installs just like yours.
Get a tune, you are leaving horse power on the table by making the engine breath better and the ECM not understanding the new air flow. I got 40 more rear wheel HP from Charlie at A&A in Oxnard after a LG long tube install and engine light lit. The 40 HP came after the base run and it already had a custom tune before the header install. Now have lots more peddle and no engine light. Thanks A&A money well spent.
