Default Questions

Just purchased a new 2007 LS-2 Convertible on Saturday.

Looking at adding the following to the Vehicle:
- Corsa Sport Exhaust System.
- American Racing full length exhaust system
- Granatelli MAF sensor for cold air intake
- Vararam LS-2 Throttle Body Spacer
- Vararam Intake
- 160 thermostat

Will there be any major PCM mapping that will have to be done??

Do they have a Predator Programmer for an 07 or can I get one for an 06 model year?

The build date for my car was 08/04/2006.

Thanks for the help.

In my opinion, forget the MAF, all you other planned mods are good. You can get a mail order tune from Corvettes of Westchester, he will fix you right up.

Everything but the MAF. Will not do anything for you and may cause you to throw some codes.

Ok, forget the MAF. I was reading in some of the threads that there is a screen on the OEM MAF. Should that be removed like the MAF in the Z06s?

I have not taken my screen out. I don't think I will. Ask Spinmonster about that, I think maybe he took his out.

I recommend a dyno tune after you get the mods on. That runs around 4-5 hundred bucks. But you will get all the HP out of your mods that way.

I have the 6-speed. With the F-55 Suspension onboard.

Would the Predator Programmer be a bad investment??

Not sure on the predator. I have a friend that used one on the C5 and really liked it. I am not a mechanic so I lean more towards having someone else tune my car.

I think most on here like HP tuner for the labtop.

Default Do Not Remove The Screen.....

Removing the screen is a BAD MOVE and will give you nothing in terms of HP and might just give you problems.

On the other hand.....A tune is way better than a hand held....

AND If we were to tune you now for instance...When the EFI LIVE Auto CAl comes out... I will be able to tune your car through e-mail and log it as well making the results near PERFECT! AND you never have to remove the pcm from the car......

Stay TUNED!
