Default running lean

I have installed lt headers and it appears that cylinder 3 & 5 are running lean. The header tubes are discolored more than the others cylinders. I have my long term fuel trim on both banks between 0 and -2 and at wot my o2 sensors are reading from 89 to 91. The left engine bank is the side with the ltft reading -2. I also hear a ticking noise from that side of the engine, could it be possible loose vavle? has any one had valves out of adjustment at 10,000 miles?

your o2 needs to be wideband if you are collecting data under wot. if not the data from stock o2 under wot are basicly useless, that is why ecm doesn't use o2 under wot.

At under +24% ltft's your car isnt running lean it is at stoic since the car maintains the 14.7:1 AF by itself. If it were over the car's ability to be 14.7:1 then you would have a check engine light. If you have .91 volts for the narrow band o2's then you car can be at 11.8-12:1 under WOT but you should check with a wideband.
