I also have one on my LPE 403 modified C6. I'm quite pleased with it.
I was concerned about driving with the CAI in the rain but the 21 Century Muscle Car mechanics assured-me it would handle all but deep standing water and perhaps a torrential rain. They showed me how the design of the C6 was less susceptible to water induction than the C5. Although I was still worried about it, I made it through several rain storms without a problem. Although I'm more confident driving with the CAI in the rain, I'll drive my Suburban if it's pouring (which doesn't happen all that often here in Southern Arizona).
I have one of the first ones offered on this Forum, excellent CAI as far as I'm concerned. The installation is time consuming and filter cleaning take some effort but I wouldn't purchase any other CAI to replace it. By far the cheapest RWHP gain on my car.
I have one on my 403 car. It looks factory and is exactly how it should have been designed from GM. Get it straight from them and there is (or at least was), no shipping.
As far as performance, don't expect a miracle. The car does however make a new distinctive sound. I guess it just sounds meaner.
