Tire dilemma
In the last three weeks, I've taken the car ('06 MN6 Z51) to the strip and to an autocross. Enjoyed both but the stock tires suck. So...tires that work best for an autocross do not work best for the 1/4 mile and vice versa. I am unable to afford three sets of tires/rims so the second set has to do double duty (track/autox). Does anyone have any experience or recommendations regarding a tire that could possibly do acceptably well in both venues? Thanks!
