A6 shift **** removal
Anyone figured out how to remove the shift **** on an A6?

To remove the shifter ****, locate the collar at the bottom of the shifter ****.
Rotate this collar a quarter turn or less to release to collar and boot from the ****.
This collar secures the shifter boot to the shifter ****.
Once released, pull up on the shifter **** to remove.
The tolerance of shifter **** to the floor shifter are close....
It may take a lot of force to remove the **** from the shifter assembly.
