That's not a bad idea!

Better yet...it could be packed with paint/ink...and if they try to remove the tire while it's too far from the car, the paint/ink explodes...

Gorilla locks for me on my new CCW wheels. I don't want to make it real easy for someone to steal these babies.

Default Wheel Locks

Like Elmer said, KHAR P-9, and for those times when I am not around I have installed a set of GM locks.

Yes, bought them from GM. I had them from the factory on my '04 and couldn't believe they were not included with the '07's!

I'm with SSJCreeper on this one.

On my STi someone loosened all the lugs and I was fortunate enough to notice something was wrong and literally stopped 100 ft before the freeway on ramp where I normally haul a$$

All my lugs are now Gorilla locks, if they want my wheels I want them to work for it damnit

McGard - Lots tougher finish, guaranteed for life. I wanted to change over to black, so I ordered 16 regular along with a set of locks. When I ordered, I had them send an extra key. One stays in the vette and the other lives in the tool box.

Lock nuts can be removed just about as fast as non lockers can. Save your money!

I ordered McGard wheel locks from AutoBarn. Received them yesterday and haven't installed yet.

I've had locks on earlier cars. Never lost a "Key" and will take great steps to never lose this one.

This wheel lock is basically a special lug that requires a keyed socket. That socket has a key that fits into the lug. The outside of the lug is round giving nothing to grip onto.

A thief may have many McGard "keys" but without the right one, I'd think this lug would be very difficult to remove.

I got these locks in case I someday park overnight in a relatively safe lot. Although I have (merely) stock wheels and tires, they are worth considerable $$ and I want someone to have to work for them.

Nothing will stop a skilled wheel thief, just like nothing will stop a skilled car thief. Wheel locks will cause the work to be slower and noisier, hopefully the dirtbag will decide my car isn't worth the effort. With stock wheels I'm even less likely to be a target.
The GM locks are actually McGard, I have a set on the car and bought a spare "key" immediately.
My mission in life is to make things tougher for the crooks, this is one small step.
