Default Nuts Missing?

Added some differential additive this morning and looking around noticed on the approximately 3 inch wide black metal piece that runs from the lower suspension that it has no nuts on top of a one and a half inch long stud bolt. There is a large rubber bushing under it. Is this right. Appreciate any help. First vette and not familiar with all the suspension parts.

They screw into the spring, which has the nut integrated into it. No separate nut.
