Default Base vs z51 TPS

I have a base suspension 07 coupe.I will be installing wheels/tires and sensors complete from a z51 coupe. Are the sensors the same or will I need to replaced them?

The Z51 requires the High Peformance TPS sensors. They put out a special signal that gives the driver more driving ability.

Sorry, couldn't resist, no they are the same.

All the C6 models are the same.

It sounds like the tires and sensors are all mounted up on your new wheels, so all you'll need to do is bolt on your new wheels and "register" the new sensors with the TPMS computer in the car. To do that, you need a tire sensor reset tool. A tire shop or your Chebbie dealer should be able to register your new sensors for you - it's about a 60 second procedure.

Parts Bob at Fichtner told me that there are two types of TPS for the C-6. He checked by VIN number and knew what part to order. The code for my early 06 is UJ9. That code will also be listed in your glove box on the RPO sticker. If you are installing a wheel package with the same type of TPS there is no issue.
