Good diagnostic tool, not-so-good tuner. I still think its worth having one, but I would probably go with a tune from an experienced tuner and just use the Diablo for loging data and diagnostics.
Does it contain a "Ready to use" tunning? I mean you just select the desired tune from the device then click OK button and it d-load it to your car? I have no experience in the Predator, But I ordered it and it will be here after 2 days.

Yes. You can choose to load the Diablo Tune, 91 Octane Tune, or modify the stock tune.
ok, I know what the modify stock tune is.. But what is the Diablo Tune - Octane Tune? And which one is better? :o
If you can get 93 octane gas, go with the Diablo Tune. It will yield the most power. 91 Octane Tune retards timing some so you won't ping & knock with lower octane gas. Modify Stock Tune lets you modify the stock settings (to some extent).

In addition the Diablo and 91 Octane tunes will alter transmission performance if you have an automatic, and they will alter torque management (again most dramatic change with an automatic). Unless you are doing many mods to the car the hand-held should work fine for you. If you are going heads / cam / blower / etc., you're best served with a dyno tune.

Yeah I got an auto transmission, In general.. is the diablo really worth it?

Overall, I think it is worth it mostly because you can return back to stock very easily. This Predator is basically a mail order tune with the ability to make some changes although I wish the RPM increments of the changes were smaller. The problem with mail order tunes is since each car is different the default tune may be just right for some cars and a little off for others. The ajustability of the parameters can fix a lot ot that if you know what to look for, however.
I got one on Friday, but with it being winter in Detroit, I won't know if it works until April............
The local tuner told me to get one to store the GM and the custom tune in.
Update....No rain or snow so I just installed it. The direction ar not written for this unit, but they were close enough. The 1-4 shift light doesn't come on any more, so that is good. It drives fine, but it did before also.
Hey..
Finally got my Diablo I d-loaded the "Diablo Tune" to my car and going to try my ride after 1 hour. I will let you know if there's a difference or not.

Does it REALLY allow you to alter Torque Management settings? If so I am up for it, otherwise I am going to have to remove both computers and send to Chuck Cow, kind of a pain in *** because I drive mine so much I hate to disable the car for a week.
I already got a Westers tune for Vette, and though Lyndon's other tunes have been great for my Yukons , I can't say I am really impressed with the one for my Vette. Actually, it was rather disapointing. He couldn't adjust the TM yet. ( I have an 07 with the a6)

I like it, but I have to get the latest download from GM so that I can use the new Data Viewer. They have a demo you can run on the Viewer and it looks good. You can down load it from Diablosport and check it out.
