To whom it may concern,
My battery was losing its charge overnight. I brought the car to the dealership and they saw that the electrical system was way over the allowed current draw. They disconneted the Neucleus Ipod Interface and the draw dropped dramatically. Apparently the Neucleus Ipod Interface does not shut off when the vehicle is not in use. It has been over 3 weeks and I have not had a single discharge.
Hope this helps

I had seen this same information. And GM posted it in a PI ( Preliminary Information ) advisory about DBS saying the Nucleus Ipod adapter Absolutely can cause Dead Batteries. Search the forum for PIC4188A and PIC4188B and you can find the GM document. I had the New BCM reflash done recently. It was a software upgrade to address and hopefully prevent DBS, No Dead batteries since. The document has some testing info to troubleshoot DBS. If you havent had the reflash and have more DBS episodes you may want to have the dealer do the BCM Reflash..
