Default Crankshaft Ls1 4" for LS2

Hi
Beside me question: possible use the crankshaft LS1 4" for Ls2 C6 05?
After all there another reluctor wheel. Will it is correct to work crank sensor?
There is experience who answer.

Depends on the year of the car, 2005 C6's use the 24x reluctor wheel just like all the LS1's. 2006 began the 58x reluctor wheel. You can double check by examining the color of the CKP sensor, if it is black you are 24x, if it is whitte/grey than you have a 58x car.
Good Luck.

Signifies crank Ls1 will not work in LS2 06?

That is correct, if you have the white/grey sensor than you have a 58x reluctor wheel. This change happened in the 06 model year. Technically speaking the crank will still work you will need the old reluctor wheel removed and the new style (58x0 pressed on. If you are buying a new crank, most aftermarket vendors will give you the option of reluctor wheel style when you purchase the crank.
