Tire sensors
Some one said if you remove your wheels with the sensors in them. Take them further than 20 or 30 feet from the car they will lose their programe and need to be recalibrated at a dealer.

No, that's not true. The PCM in the car only recognizes one sensor per location. Once the sensor is coded to a location it stays coded to that location until it is changed by an aftermarket TPS unit or by the Dealer.
You can remove the wheel/tire and take it to a tire shop and leave it there for days, when you bring the wheel/tire back to the car the sensor will still work (as long as you put it in the same location).
