I have the PowerFlo on my C6. It's a deep sounding exhaust, little bit louder than stock, drone at about 1500 rpm which you will notice especially with an A6. I assume you're talking about the trapezoidal tips which they had on sale for 500 bucks last time I looked, seems like an awesome deal with most of the exhaust systems out there going for around a grand. Anyway I say go for it if you don't mind some drone occasionally.

I have the cast Power-Flo on my C6. That is the one with the 4 square outlets. In my opinion it has less drone then the older trap. tip system. The cast outlet system uses one muffler housing instead of 2. My car is an A6 and I do get some drone around 1600 but it is very mild, most people do not even notice it. Very easy to get rid of either by dropping down a gear or a slight change in throttle. You can't beat the sale price on the trap. system. If you are talking about the new Loudmouth systems they are both more aggressive especially the Loudmouth I. One nice feature of them are the mufflers are modular and you can switch from one to the other in a few minutes. All 3 of the new exhausts were fabricated on my car, it is the one in the pictures on SLP's site. They also did video sound clips with my car with all 3 of the systems, but I am not sure if they are on line yet.

Cat back exhausts are mostly for done for sound, which is a very subjective and personal decision. None of the major manufactures make a "bad" system. Listen to as many as you can get to hear and just pick the one that sounds best to you.

Love to see a "close up" picture of either one of the SLP's. I'm interested in how they look as well as the sound.

Mike check out SLP's site.
http://http://www.slponline.com/main.asp

You can find pictures by clicking on the Banner that lists "Coming soon/new products" and by clicking on 2005-2007 Corvette in the list of cars on the left side of the main page.

No problem. I can't wait for them to add the video sound clips. Kind of neat seeing and hearing your car with several different exhaust systems.

Checked out the site. Wish they had a close up pic of the alum. Powerflow quad tips and the traps on a C6. They're too far away for my old eyes.

Exhaust sound is so much personal preference I think you need to hear them to decide.

Excellent! Sounds like the Loudmouth I is louder than the Loudmouth II?

That is correct the Loudmouth I is the loudest then the LM II and the PF the tamest.
