Got the bullets on today... I can't believe how freakin' loud it is! It's deafening inside the cab with the windows up and the roof on. Is that normal for bullets with headers and high-flow cats. I seriously think it could cause a person to go deaf. No kidding. Is anyone else experiencing this or do I have something wrong?
I've posted the Bullets for sale on the forum and ordered another set of Corsa Sports. I can't wait to get them. I have my stock mufflers back on till then.

I just took my borla stingers off for that very reason and the bullets are worse. Good luck with that combo is all I can say.

Pretty impressive initially, but you'll get use to it. It does sound great, huh? I'm still considering dynomating the hatch area to decrease the vibration in mine. I'm also currently waiting for my Lloyds hatch mat which I guess could reduce it a tiny amount. Hang in there! You will soon loose enough hearing that it will not bother you anymore.
Wow that car with the Bullets sounds like a helicopter as it's driving away.
Anyway shortly after I got the SLPs put on I had the same concern about hearing loss from the drone, but after a while I got used to it, I'm sure you will too...
I guess that's why many recommend going to "hear, ride, drive" in someone else's first. Either that or you pay the "other Corvette" tax: buying parts and paying for labor to de-install and re-install new, or your old stuff.
Sorry to hear about that. How's the earplugs working?

Reason: spelling
I had Bullets without Headers on my 2005 C6 A4 Convertible.
I had them installed in the winter when I had to keep my top and windows up, the DRONE was unbearable and I took them off less than 1 month later.
I can't imagine them with headers.
Good luck with your decision on keeping them or switching.
On the other hand, I had Corsa Sports with LT Headers on my 2006 and that sounde great as my daily driver, except for a little extra loud popping once in a while.
Now I have a Magnaflow #15884 catback on my 2005 and a Corsa Sport #14169 catback on my 2007 A6, I prefer the sound of the Corsa catback.
