Hi'yall,

About to buy (order) a new C6
I would be shipping right back to U.K.
Does anyone know how the vehicle TAX situation would be.
Would I have to pay any sales tax if it is shipped right out the U.S.
I have to pay 17.5% tax when it arrives in U.K.

Also, would there be any point in getting the NAV package? or can it be set up with the mapping for U.K.

Here is my current ride

You might try a dealer in UK about the NAV system if their disc will work in your imported Vette, I would think it would. We have to get ours from WWW.gmnavdisc.com, give them a try and see what you can find out. Don't know about the taxes on importing to UK. Good luck.

You should be able to get the euro nav disk, and I don't think you'll pay any sales tax in the US, check with your freight forwarder on other customs duties.
