Code Deletions
I am thinking about getting a tune for my 2006 A6. I have heard some talk about having the tuner delete various codes. Anyone know what codes these are and what they do? Thanks.

it is usually rear o2 codes, for folks that are running headers with hi flow cats or no cats.

Usually(not always) when you add LT Headers you get a Check Engine Light, which are the result of the computer sensing something is out of whack with the air flow at the O2 sensors(caused by increasing air flow through the exhaust). Getting a tune will usually not fix these codes but they can be deleted. For some people they don't return, for some they do.
