Default Proper air Pressure

I have a new 07 Z51 verte sitting in my garage (cold about 29f). The pressure reads 27LBS. on all tires. They had 27 in all when I picked it up. Should I add air ti 30lb. or is this correct for cold tires
Thanks Guys
Horace

30 lbs cold is the factory recommended tire pressure. That info is on the driver's side door jamb tag. Your tires probably had correct pressure when the car left the factory or the Dealer, but law of physics....as temperature declines, pressure declines. If you get them to 30 lbs now with ambient temp around 30 degrees, once warmer weather arrives, you'll notice that tire pressure increases. Nothing to get **** about....I actually run mine at 32 lbs cold....that gets them to a working pressure of 34-36 lbs once the tires warm up which seems to work fine for me....'06/Z51/MN6.

He is right, just set to 30lb at ambient temperature and it changes all the time with different weather conditions. I went to Colorado last October from Ft. Worth, TX, and had to inflate tire at least three or more times, 80o FTW, 60o Raton NM, 50o Independence Pass CO, 30o Aspen CO, 20o Leadville CO; on the way home to Texas the reverse started all over again. It was fun to find air in filling station, finally used truck stops and pulled up into truck pumps and got admiring stares for my Monterey Red Metalic 06 c6 a6. Your tire guage is your friend and pal, you'l use it alot as the weather makes extreme changes.
