2 weeks ago car would not start, starter and motor would turn over but no ignition. after we got car to dealers car started with no issues and no codes. after a week having car and still no problems they decided to change fuel pump relay. today i drive car to gym and when finished i tried to start and car would kick off and die. tried a few more times with same result. after getting it to dealer the car started with no problem. they are going through it again. sounds like a fuel pump problem to me. what do you all think?
Gotta be fuel-something problem. If not the pump, a blockage/restriction somewhere downstream? Sux, dude.
I hate these type of problems, it takes alot of thinking and testing and sometimes they just go away and show up at some other most inappropriate times like the desert. It could also be computers but codes not showing up, I am going through this now. Have dealer put a diagonsic log recorder on it. Good luck.
Fixed!! I had to keep trying till the car did not start, had no/low/erratic fuel pressure back traced the fuel pump wiring and found a feed wire in a harness connector backed out 1/32" so most of the time it would be just fine, but mix in our 0 degree temps and that would be enough to cause a no start....now i can sleep KP www.hpperformancecorvettes.com

Hey KP, thanks. Glad you got it figured out. I'll be picking up car tomorrow. Only bad thing is I got to drive home in snow and salt. That should be challenging. My loaner the past few days has been a Chevy Subarban and it handles the road like there is no snow on the ground. Sure is different driving that tank and looking down on people but I'll be glad to have the C6 back in the garage. Again thanks.
