This was brought up in another thread and I didn't want to highjack but has anyone used these Fast Intake Burst panels on a nitrous setup? And if you have, does anyone have experience with one of these bursting?
I was under the impression that these were designed more for boosted applications and the designed to burst if the manifold pressure was too great. I am curious if these would help in the event of a nitrous backfire?

Yes, they are designed to burst instead of the manifold bursting into a million pieces. I have seen it work on an LS1 F-body drag car we built. The customer wasnt use to the transbrake and when he left it back fired and the burst panels did there job.
