Default Lug nut size

Does anyone know for sure that the '05 C6 lug nuts are 19mm?

Anyone know of a good place to get a corresponding 6 sided deep socket with protection from scratching the lugs??

Yes, the OE lug nuts take a 19mm socket.

Butt....the OE lugs are kinda crapola, AFAIC. They have a sheet metal sheath over them to make them look better.

I've got the McGard 64002. They're solid and have a beautiful chrome finish.

Check 'em out at:

The Gorilla Nuts are great, also. You can see them at:

Either one of the above lugs are much nicer than the stock lug nuts.

I bought the Mcgard lug nut's and the Gorilla locks. They were the only lock I found that looks like the lug nut. Even Mcgards locks do not look like their lug nuts.

Yes those are nice. You can also buy good quality, nice looking lugnuts at America's Tire store, or Discount Tire.
