Neeeeedd Advice
This guy i know has been talking sooooo much crap that he's gonna smoke me with 300 ZX, nissan. It has 383 rwh out from his stock twin tubos. I have only a Z-51 coupe 6 speed, with haltech stinger intake, corsa sport, 505a CCW wheels with kdw2 gf' s, and i think i can beat him. What do YOUS think and what role should i race him from or even a launch?

More than likely, as long as you've got some decent driving skill, you won't have much problem with the car.
Even assuming you were stock and are probably making in the 340rwhp neighborhood, your weight advantage alone would be more than enough.
300Z's are pigs, so it takes quite a bit of power to move them at a decent rate.
Take it to the track though. Time slips don't lie.

Guys, thanks alot for the support. Im not sure if its a 350 or 300zx, but it has 2 seats, a V-6, and twin turbo. I tried to tell all my friend that NA is the best and i will have more power through out my power band then his turbo. OOoo and plus my driving skills will make up for 30 hp
What would be the best run i should take him from, 50 in 2nd? Something that i would have more power then he will and he will have turbo lag.

I seen the car, its not the Z but the old ZX that come stock with twin turbo

If he really has 383 RWHP out of the stock turbos and both of you drive equally well then you probably will edge him out. I think it will be a close race. The 300ZX TT weighs around 3500 lbs. Some years back I had a 96 300ZX TT with around 310 or so RWHP with the boost raised somewhat with intake and exhaust. That car felt as fast as the 00 Trans Am WS6 I had.

I my opinion the weight advantage and the aerodynamics that the Vette has will help you a lot...although that car is car that can be boosted very easily...so watch out. I would roll in 1st gear and keep shifting!!!

He's probably running a stage 5 setup.They spool fast at that boost level.Would be close .I had a 1993 TT that had almost $42K in the engine with BB turbos.If he is running more than you are aware those Z's are heavier but can be really fast. Good luck and take care,let us know.

If the Nissan has a lot of "mystrious things" under the hood with HKS stickers on them, then buy him a beer.

The old twin turbo 300ZX is a decent car, but the new 350Z's are slugs. I've seen at least a dozen of them run at Firebird and have yet to see one below 14.5 second or above 98 mph! But I will admit one thing, they sure are pretty slugs.
