What was the original chamber volume and how much did you have to mill to get to 66cc?

.045 milled...and that was after the CNC reshaping of the stock chamber - stock chamber is ~70cc

Dumb question but @ 66cc's these would yield stock compression #'s on an LS2 right?

Stock L92 ports are ~ 260cc - these are ~265.
And then the next question might be about runner volume vs velocity vs power. The short answer is that volumetric efficiencies are the critical factor and runner volume is a factor, not the key.

Very nice pickup flow vs increase of runner size. When are you expecting HP numbers??
Valve sizes?? Stock??

If that dyno chart is from a 6L LS2 motor, I am deeply impressed. Looks like close to 375 TQ at 2500 RPMs, only a slight dip at 4K, nice flat curve.
Ooops, I see from another thread that this is a 417 motor with a 230+ cam. Now it starts to make more sense.

It's a Z51 6sp, With magnaflows, Kooks 13/4 headers, 160 stat, the cam is mild at 232/234/595/598/112LSA's,because it's a daily driver. I had them install a direct fit large radiator, and the Texelerla X-grip clutch. that's it plus the new motor. I'm going up wednesday to pick it up and drive it home. It should be a great running car.

Can you make those heads w/o the reduced chamber cc?
I am looking to lower the effective compression ratio so that I can run more boost.
Also, will there be options for the valves and rockers?
I would like to get a complete setup ready to bolt on.

Charlie, Are these heads hand ported? If so, how repeatable are these flow numbers? What is the exhaust numbers without the pipe?

John, these are CNC ported and repeat within a few CFM.

CNC - very nice. Were those numbers with a pipe? If so, can you provide the exhaust flow numbers without the pipe?

John,
Without a pipe - high 240's.

71 cc's is as large as I've gone. Could go more. How much boost are you going to run?
Valve options only limited to budget. Stock and SS are the base choice, with additional options of Inconel, Titanium and hollow stem SS.
Rockers are limited to stock - although you can have Harland Sharp upgrade the trunnions.
thanks,
Charlie

Ok so I know nothing about heads. Would these heads be good to run with a mild cam on an otherwise stock motor? What kind of numbers would I expect. Also does the price include a core charge or anything? I am planning on doing possibly heads/cam pulleys headers cai and intake and leaving the car alone after that. Thanks for any info
