Default LS7 Oil Cooler Info Please

I bought an LS7 GM crate motor brand new for a Corvette GTP Kit car project and need to know how to mount an oil cooler adapter to the block. Is there an aftermarket piece that bolts on the side by the oil filter or ?????. Any help would be fantastic.

I would also like to know more about the Z06 oil cooler. Did your kit come with the lines and the tank? If so, where does it mount?

Regarding your question, I can tell you that on the LS2 there are two ports machined into the block just above the oil filter. Mine are covered over with a plate the is held by two bolts. This is where the engine cooling lines attach for all pre-2007 Z51 autos and manuels. From schematics, it appeared that the ZO6 also attaches the oil lines at this same location, but I can't be sure of this. There is probably an adapter plate that bolts to the block and the oil lines then thread into this. Good luck with your project!!!
